Zeta Lou Brooks 86, of Brownwood passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021. A Memorial Service will be held Friday December 17, 2021 at 1pm at Brownwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday 6-8pm at Brownwood Funeral Home. Zeta was born December 9, 1935 in Comanche, TX to Nancy and Horace Martin. She grew up primarily in Monahans, TX. Zeta married her husband I.W. Brooks in 1954 and after marriage, they lived in New Mexico, Arkansas, and California. They finally settled in Brownwood, TX in 1990. Zeta is preceded in death by both parents Nancy and Horace Martin. Husband; I.W. Brooks. Grandson; Jonathan Parker Brooks. Zeta is survived by 2 daughters; Tanya Stewart and Natalie DeLisle. 1 son; Robert Brooks. 1 sister; Golda Robinson; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
