Obituary

Tuesday, September 22, 2015, Willie Morgan, age 56 of Brownwood, Texas while at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX, passed into eternity where all of God's children receive their Crown in Glory. A service of praise and celebration will be held Saturday September 26th, at 1:00 pm at the Lee Chapel A.M. E. Church, Brownwood, Texas with Pastor Elder Wess Morgan, Jr. as the Eulogist. A visitation will be held at Lee Chapel A.M.E. Church, Friday, September 25th, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Willie "Will" Morgan" was born November 30, 1958 in Gilbert LA, to the union of Wess Morgan Sr. and Emma Lee Miles Morgan. Will received his primary education from Gilbert High School, Gilbert, Louisiana graduating in May 1976. He was a stand out with honors as a defensive back on the 1975 State Championship Football Team. Will attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and majored in Agriculture Economic with a consecration in Science technology. Will loved to sing and was an Elder in the Christian faith. His exhortation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ was well received by all who heard him. He wanted above all to keep his family together. He achieved this task by hosting the family' first reunion which was a huge success. Will was a Member of the Lee Chapel A.M.E Church where he was a Deacon for many years. Will was a very giving man, who loved to share a laugh, cook food and enjoy life with family and friends. He loved his family and friends but most of all he loved the Lord. Will was preceded in death by both parents, grandmother Ada Mae Simpson, sister Ida Mae Morgan Williams, and two brothers, Robert Lewis Morgan and Edward Morgan. Left to cherish his memories is life companion Beulah Faye Ross, Lawrenceville, GA, previous spouse, Rosa Perez of Brownwood, TX, a daughter Christina Evans of Jackson MS, two sons Will Antoine Ross and wife Ramona Celina Ross of Brownwood, and Christopher Perez Morgan of Brownwood, four step-sons David Dillard, Abraham Dillard, Aaron Dillard, and Johnathon Dillard all of Brownwood, and grandchildren: Faizion Ross, Morgan Evans, Devon'Trey Deli'Shaun Ross, Lamar De'Shea Ross, and De'Myrielle Antione Ross. Four Brothers Willie Lee Morgan wife Mary Jane Lujan Morgan of Brownwood, TX, Wess Morgan Jr., wife Mary Virginia Morgan of Hattiesburg MS, Lionel Morgan of Gilbert LA, and John Morgan wife Amy Ruth Morgan of Waynesville, MO and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Lee Chapel A.M.E.
