A memorial service for "Bill" Tate of Coleman will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman, Texas with the Reverend Dick Schultz officiating. Bill passed away in his sleep on July 21, 2019. He was born March 9, 1964 in Emporia, Kansas to William E. Tate Sr. and Wilma Dunn Tate. He was a former electrician and oilfield worker. His hobbies included playing chess or dominoes; fishing, artistry, and playing his guitar. He was raised in the Coleman area and will be missed my many friends and family members. he was a Christian and loved the Lord. He is proceeded in death by his father William E. Tate Sr Survivors include his mother, Wilma Wendelgass of Brownwood, Texas, his sisters, Amanda Watson of Bangs, Samantha Lantz of Las Vegas, Nevada and Shonna Wilkin of Brownwood, Texas. Also his sons Kevin Tate, Brian Tate and Brandon Tate all of Coleman, Texas. Two granddaughters, Nivanha and Bella Tate of Brownwood along with several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a meal and fellowship after the service to celebrate the life of "Little Bill" Tate in the fellowship hall of Emmanuel Baptist Church
