Obituary

Virgil Howard Doucette of Rising Star passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Brownwood Nursing and Rehab. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday October 9, 2019 at 10:00am at Rising Star Heritage Cemetery with Minister Jeff Morris officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday October 8, 2019 from 6-8pm at Brownwood Funeral Home. Virgil was born September 1, 1959 in Little Falls, MN to Juliann Doucette (Lattimer) and Howard Doucette. Virgil attended school and graduated High School in Little Falls MN. Soon after high school he began a career in Welding and was a welder for many years. In 1981 Virgil Moved to Texas. He enjoyed Gardening, Fishing and Hunting. He was Considered a Jack of All Trades. Virgil was preceded in death by Father Howard Doucette, and step daughter Rebekah Waddle. Left to cherish his memories are: wife, Darla Doucette of Rising Star, TX, Mother Juliann Doucette, of Minnesota, daughters Keri Brame and husband Scott of Early Texas, Julie Doucette and Gary Holland of Brownwood, son Jordan Doucette and wife Courtney, step daughter Ceairra Moore of May TX, step son Carl Moore of Rising Star, son in-law Al Waddle of Comanche, 14 grandchildren, brother Ricky Doucette, sisters Renee Hogen, Sandy Richmond, Kristie Berendt, Rita Andrews and a host of extended family and many friends.
