Vanessa L. Petrie passed away at Hendrick Medical Center July 2, 2014 Funeral services will be held Friday July 11 at 11:00am at Galilee Baptist Church located at 1011 Briarwood . Vanessa L Petrie was born in Hilo, HI. July 20th, 1971 to the parentage of Dorothy Bernard. She loved everyone that crossed her path. She attended McKinley High School in Honolulu HI. She started home health care in 1995 and she started taking care of her mother Dorothy. She's been a home maker since 2003 and became a member of the North Side Baptist Church in 2011. She never missed a Sunday service. She loved cooking and helping others. She was proceeded in death by her mother Dorothy Bernard. Her survivors include her husband Sean Petrie of Abilene Tx, sons Davi'on Flores and Damani Bert both of Abilene Tx. Two Sisters Catherine Keckley of Abilene, and Nicole Parker of Richmond VA, Aunt Anita Flores and Uncle Stanley Flores both of Honolulu HI, Two nieces Leann Saragosa and Lynette Saragosa both of Richmond VA, 5 cousins Stella Flores, Josette Flores, Korey Flores, Damien Flores, and Heather Scudder, and a Host of Extended family and friends.Online condolences may be made at www.dovefuneralhome.net.
