In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Dina Torres Lopez It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Ubaldina "Dina" Torres Lopez, who transitioned into the Kingdom of Heaven on July 15, 2025, at the age of 62, in Lubbock, Texas. She left this world peacefully, surrounded by those who loved her unconditionally. Dina was born on January 2, 1963, in Del Rio, Texas, to Apolonio and Aurora (Mendez) Torres. She graduated from Goldthwaite High School in 1982 and later earned her diploma in Accounting from Central Texas Commercial College in 1987. On November 19, 1982, she married the love of her life, Eduardo "Eddie" Lopez, in Brownwood, Texas. A devoted woman of faith, she was a longtime member of Victory Life Church in Brownwood. Dina touched countless lives with her warmth and compassion. Whether through her work, her friendships, or the quiet ways she supported those around her, she made a lasting impact. Her passion for serving the community and preserving family traditions will live on in the memories we cherish. She is survived by her daughters: Veronica (& Jonathan) Roher, Holly Lopez, and Reba Lopez; her grandchildren: Ryley Rosalez, Azalyn Rosalez, Hayden Rohrer, Briella Castaneda, Bryce Lopez, Tylan Lopez, Avari Castaneda, and Scarlett Denison; and her great-grandchildren: Maverick Lopez and Aurora Lopez. She is also survived by her brothers: Juan J. Torres, Apolonio Torres Jr., Roland Torres, Arnoldo K. Torres-Snyder, and Saul Torres; and her sisters: San Juana Torres and Aurora Dawn Torres, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Apolonio Sr. and Aurora Torres, her husband, Eduardo "Eddie" Lopez and her sister, Maria Elena Torres Luna. Dina was more than a mother, grandmother, and sister - she was a confidante, a best friend, and a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. Her laughter was contagious, her kindness boundless, and her strength unwavering. She lived with grace, gave generously, and loved deeply. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit and love will remain in our hearts forever. A private Celebration of Life service will be held for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to The American Heart Association (AHA) or the National Kidney Foundation (NKF), both causes close to her heart.
