Truman Plez Shaver 72 of Brownwood passed away at his home Saturday December 5, 2015. Graveside services will be held Thursday December 10, 2015 at the Greenleaf Cemetery at 11:00am with Minister Rick Phelps officiating. Truman was born July 5, 1943 in Wapanucka OK, to the parentage of Charlie and Ada Shaver. The family then moved to Levelland TX, and he received his education in Levelland Schools. Truman was a hard worker and worked in the Oil Field for many years. In 1988 Truman relocated to Brownwood Texas and would remain here until his death. He loved country music, and loved to listen to the radio. If you wanted to know something about anything, Truman was the one to go to, he knew something about everything, he loved to keep up with the news and current events. Truman was preceded in death by both parents, daughter Amanda Shaver, Brothers J.T. Shaver, Floyd Shaver, sisters Leora Hines, and Patsy Shaver, numerous aunts and uncles. Left to cherish his memories is daughter Ronnett Shaver-Stewart, Brothers Ralph Shaver and Donald Shaver, two sisters Mary Nichols and Charlene Herring.
