Obituary

Tomasa Pardo 77 of Abilene passed away Wednesday April 27, 2016 with family by her side at Abilene Regional Medical Center. A Graveside service will be held Monday May 2, 2016 at 11:00am at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery. A Visitation will be held Sunday May 1, 2016 from 6-8pm at the Dove Funeral Home located at 2500N. 1st St. Tomasa Pardo was born in Stamford September 21, 1938 to the parentage of Francisco Quintanilla and Ynosenta Mendez. Tomasa spent the majority of her life in Stamford before moving to Abilene. Tomasa loved her family and loved to cook. She was a very hard worker and loved gardening and sewing. Tomasa was preceded in death by parents, daughter Amelia Pardo, 3 sisters Betty Rios, Juanita Canales, Alcadia Quintanilla, and 2 brothers John and Almador Quintanilla. Left to cherish her memories are Daughters Sylvia Mobley (Jesse) of Virginia, Doris Pardo-Howell of Arizona, Stephanie Huey (Lowell) of Abilene, Sons Raymond Pardo of Abilene, Crispin Pardo Jr. (Becky) of Abilene and Jay Pardo of Arizona. She is also survived by 2 sisters Fernanda Soliz, and Lilly Hernandez, and Brother Vito Quintanilla, 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
