Thelma was born November 23, 1956 in Del Rio TX to the parentage of Alfredo Barbosa and Oralia Santos. She attended schools there in Del Rio before moving to Brownwood. Thelma was a very loving person who loved her family, and especially loved to visit with her sister. Thelma Barbosa 58 of Brownwood passed away Thursday October 15, 2015 at Brownwood Sr. Care Nursing home. She was preceded in death by parents, sisters Juanita Barbosa and Elva Barbosa. Left to cherish her memories are daughter Oralia Ponce (Jose Montoya) of Brownwood, sons Eduardo Fernandez of Florida and Benito Fernandez (Tesha) of Wichita Falls, and Emerico Fernandez of Wichita Falls. 2 sisters Arjelia Flores and, Sandra Flores (Lino) both of Lometa, brothers Richard Barbosa of Brownwood, Alfonso Flores (Lisa) of Lometa, Rolando Flores of Corsicana, and Alonso Flores of Abilene, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, her dogs Martha and baby, and a host of extended family and many friends.
