Loving Wife, Mother, Sister, cousin and friend, Tenessa Thomas Payne 57 of Coleman passed away Monday May 19, 2014 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo TX, Funeral services will be held at True Vine Baptist Church Saturday May 24, 2014 at 11am, in Coleman TX. A visitation will be held Friday from 6-8pm at True Vine Baptist Church in Coleman. Tenessa Thomas was born July 17, 1956 in Dallas Texas to the parentage of Carlton and Marie Thomas. Tenessa Moved to Coleman with her Aunt Ella Mae Bailey where she would raise her from a small child. Teneassa attended Coleman public Schools graduating in the class of 1975. Tenessa met and married the love of her life Rene Payne in Coleman. Tenessas was a member of True Vine Baptist Church where she loved to sing in the Church Choir. Tenessa was a very loving person who never met a stranger who loved to cook and take care of her family, along with making candles. Left to cherish her memories are husband of 37 years Rene Payne of Coleman TX, 2 daughters Rusha Payne of Terrell TX, and Joyce Roberson (Joshua) of Coleman, 3 sons Nathan Payne of Abilene, Rene Payne Jr. of Arlington, and Chad Payne of Coleman. 4 sisters Cathy Lowe of Dallas, Kimberly Peterson (Billy) of Dallas, Penny Thomas of California and Wilma Jean Henderson (Deric) of Brownwood, 1 brother Carlton Thomas Jr. of Dallas, and her Aunt "Mother" Ella Mae Bailey of Coleman TX. And 7 Grandchildren, Michael Scroggins, Devonte' Roberson, Devinar Roberson, Traveon Roberts, Niya Payne, Noah Payne, Tenessa Star Payne Preceding her in death are her Biological parents and Brother Steven Thomas.
