Obituary
Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Snorane Henry 56 of Denton formerly of Abilene passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home in Denton TX. A service of praise and celebration will be held Friday January 5, 2017 at 12:00am at the Galilee Baptist Church located at 1011 briarwood with Rev. Larry Shead Sr. as the Eulogist. A Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8pm at the Church.
Snorane was born in Abilene TX to Frank E. Henry Sr. and Katherine Garrett-Henry. She received her education from Abilene public schools. Snorane loved to cook, and worked in Food Service industry for many years. She had a Very outgoing personality, Snorane also know as "Sanora" loved music and she loved to dance. In her spare time Sanora loved to go shopping, read, write and watch her favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys.
Snorane was preceded in death by parents Frank Edward Henry Sr. and Katherine Henry, grandson Patrick Alaniz, Brothers Early Brown, Frank Henry Jr., and Fredrick Henry.
Left to cherish her memories are daughter: Shaurma Henry of Yazoo City MS, Sons; Rodrick Henry of Denton TX, Adrian Henry of Abilene, apecial friend Terri Homer, sisters: Betty Stokes and husband Al of North Carolina, Lois Hamilton of Cedar Hill, Almos Shead and husband Larry of Denton, Frankie Hutta of Grand Prairie TX, Roberta Henry and husband David of Denton, Twyla Brown of Little Elm, Felicia Henry of Denton, brothers: Herman Brown and wife Lisa of Fort Worth, Sederick Henry Brown of Denton, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
