Sherry Medariz 70 of Abilene passed away at her home Saturday March 11, 2017. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 18 at 2pm the Baker Heights Church of Christ, located at 5382 Texas Ave. There will be a meal prepared for the family and friends at 12:30 prior to the service. Sherry was born January 22, 1947 in San Diego CA, to the parents of Homer Medariz and Cordelia Smyrl. She received her education from San Diego Public Schools, Sherry was very loving person who loved everyone. She was member of the Bakers Height Church of Christ for many years, she was very creative, and loved Arts and Crafts. Sherry was preceded in death by both parents, and son Mark Patrick. Left to cherish her memories are sons; Robert Patrick (Debra) of Abilene, Ronnie Patrick (Tamara) of Abilene, sisters; Donna Baize of New Mexico, Brenda Bucher of Missouri, Brother, Buddy Webber of Seguin TX, 6 grandchildren, 4 step-granchildren, 13 step-great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
