SGT MAJ (ret.) Lucius Samuel Stalworth Sr, 75, of Brownwood TX, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 25th, 2019. A memorial Service will be held Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 2pm at the Heartland Church with Pastor Jason Studdard officiating, with Full Military Honors. Family will receive friends Monday September 30, 2019 from 6-8pm at the Brownwood Funeral Home. Lucius was a very special husband, father and exceptional friend to all that knew him. He lived in the Lake Brownwood area since the late 80's and was very well known to the community. He was a man known to help anyone in need. Lucius Stalworth was born on January 16th, 1944 to the late Matthew and Callie Stalworth (Lafayette) in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce Stalworth, his parents and 3 siblings. Left to cherish his memory are his children Lucius Stalworth Jr of Brownwood TX, Lucinda Prince and husband Joseph of Lufkin Tx, LaPlesa Roseboom and husband John of Brownwood TX, Lucius Stalworth III and wife Lacie of San Diego CA and Lucius Stalworth IV of Brownwood TX. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
