Ruben Salazar Jr. 34 of Iraan TX, formally of Brownwood passed away Saturday May 30, 2015 in Iraan TX, Funeral Services will be held Friday June 5, 2015 at 1pm at the Christ Chapel Church located at 2101 Coggin Ave., with burial to follow at the Greenleaf Cemetery. A visitation will also be held at the church Thursday from 6-8pm. Ruben was born June 14, 1980 in Dallas TX, The family moved to Brownwood when Ruben was a young child and Ruben attended Brownwood Schools. Ruben was very outgoing and loved his family, he loved to cook, Fish and he especially loved his children. Left to cherish his memories are his spouse Carla Ayala of Iraan TX, father and mother Ruben Salazar Sr. and Guadalupe Salazar of Fort Worth, biological mother Peggy Martinez of Dallas, daughters Sabrina Salazar of Missouri, Adriana Salazar of Brownwood, and step daughter Trisha Sierra of Iraan. 2 sons, Demario Salazar of Brownwood, Ruben Salazar III of Brownwood, and 5 Step sons Michael Reyes, Daniel Reyes, Juan Reyes, Alex Reyes and Nathan Garcia all of Iraan TX. 3 sisters Andrea Hernandez of Dallas, Ysidra Salazar of Fort Worth, and Angela Salazar of Fort Worth. 4 Brothers Edward Salazar of Brownwood, Albert Salazar of Brownwood, Anthony Salazar of Dallas, and Manuel Salazar of Fort Worth.
