Rev. Abe Williams Jr. was one of eight children born to the late Abe Williams, Sr. and Virginia Gibbs-Williams on No-vember 2, 1947. He went to rest on Sunday January 18, 2015. He accepted his Lord and savior Jesus Christ as a young adult and became a faithful and diligent servant at Old and New Testament Church of Dallas, TX. He attended school in Alexandria, LA. He later attended Dal-las Theological Seminary as a Lay Institute Student. On Au-gust 17, 1975 he married the love of his life Ethel Ellis and they were happily married 39 years. The Lord blessed them with four beautiful children. Abe joined Oak Cliff Bible Fel-lowship church where he held numerous positions in the church. In 1985, he answered the call of his Lord and Savior as an ordained minister. Upon becoming a member of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship church, he was ordained as a deacon. He later became an or-dained minister which led to his volunteer leadership in the "Harvesters" Evangelism Outreach Ministry. Being a servant of God he later accepted the position of Human Needs Direc-tor at OCBF. Being a servant of God he believed in faithfully sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, leaving no man unchanged. One of his favorite bible verses was Matthew 4:4: But He answered and said, it is written, man shall not live by bread of alone, but by every word that proceedeth out from the mouth of God. Abe was proceeded in death by his mother, father and son, Leonard. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Ro-derick, Christine and ABE III, his siblings: Linky B, Deloris Early, Gloria Bradford, Eddie Mae Johnson, Lawrence Wil-liams, Shirley Williams and Georgia Williams. He also leaves behind five grandchildren: Hadiya, Daijza, Jzadai, Hashia and Hasana and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
