Refujia Flores 83 of Melvin passed away with family by her side at Abilene Regional Medical Center Saturday, April 11, 2015. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Patrick Catholic Church located at 406 South Bridge St. in Brady TX. A visitation will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home from 6-8pm with the Rosary starting at 7pm. Refujia was born April 20, 1931 in Junction TX to the parentage of Ben and Juanita Villegas. Refujia met the love of her life Joe Ruben Flores and they were married on March 22, 1953 and spent 62 loving years together. Refugia was a full-time mom who loved her family, Left to cherish her memories are husband of 63 years Joe Ruben Flores of Melvin TX, daughter Ruby Hallmon (Charles) of Coleman, Joe Ruben Flores Jr. (Kelly) of Elgin, Randy Flores (Michelle) of Abilene, Roy Flores (Tina) of Clyde and Ricky Flores of Clyde, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. Preceding her in death are both parents, daughters Rita fay Warren, Rosalie Banks, and Mary Flores. Son Robert Charles Flores, brother Max Vellegas, and sister Pauline Walker.
