Ray Lewis Davis 53, of Brownwood, TX passed away Friday, November 26, 2021 with his wife by his side. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Ray was born November 30, 1967 in Tunica Mississippi to Roberta Jones Davis and Ray Lewis Davis Jr. Ray excepted Christ at an early age and later became a Licensed Minister. He worked as a Carpenter for many years and in his spare time, enjoyed cooking, taking pictures and spending time with his family. Ray is preceded in death by his mother Roberta D. Jones, previous wife Mary Louise Dorsey Davis, and 9 siblings. Ray was married to his wife of 17 years until his death. He is survived by his wife Yolanda Davis of Brownwood, TX. 3 daughters; Latoya S. Dorsey Jones (Ernest Jones) of Memphis, TN, Tenisha T. Dorsey of Marion, AR, and Shonna S. Dorsey (John Coleman III) of Southaven, MS. Father; Ray Lewis Davis Jr. (Shirley) of Brownwood, TX. 4 brothers; Elkins Lashawn Davis (Erica Davis) of Abilene, TX, Reginald Simpson of Southaven, MS, Fredrick Milam of Memphis, TN, and James Hamilton of Tunica, MS. 4 sisters; Valerie Davis of Memphis, MS, Raven Hamilton of Tunica, MS, Tawanda Clay of Dallas, TX, and Alicia Galloway of Memphis, TN, along with a host of brothers and sisters. Aunt; Rubbie Thaddies of Tunica, MS. God mother; Sammi Murphy of Memphis, TN. 12 grand kids, 2 great grand kids along with a host of nieces and nephews.
