We are gathered today to celebrate the life of a truly unforgettable woman, Penny Elliott. Born in Tecumseh, Michigan, on November 7th, 1966, Penny was a force of nature-a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend whose absence leaves a profound void in all of our hearts.

Penny was someone you couldn't help but admire. She was a feisty little thing, and anyone who ever made her mad knew she wasn't one to back down! But that same fiery spirit was also the source of her immense love, fiercely protective heart, and endless loyalty to the people she cared about most. If you were in Penny's corner, you knew you had someone in your life who would stand by you through thick and thin.

She fought a long, hard fight to stay with us, showing incredible strength and courage until she took her very last breath on September 2nd, 2026. Through every struggle, her spirit remained unbroken.

Penny is survived by her beloved children, Daughter- Amanda Nichole King and spouses Joseph King and Angel Teague and Son- Steven Charles Eversole, who were the pride and light of her life, as well as her precious grandchildren, Jenna, Jayden, Hailey, Camron Steven the 3rd and Ashlynn who brought her endless joy. She is also survived by her stepdad, Herman; her brothers Casey, Jerry, and Jeremy; her sisters Sandy and Winnie; and her cherished nieces and nephews-Judy Carter, Nicole Carter, Isaac Pedraza, Penny Avila, and Shawna Aguero-whom she loved so very much. She leaves behind a large, beautiful family and so many friends who will dearly miss her warmth, her laughter, and her unmistakable energy.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing that Penny's long fight is over. She is no longer in pain. She is at total peace, resting in the arms of God, surrounded by eternal love.

Penny, you will be so missed by so many, but your spirit, your strength, and your love will remain with us forever. Rest in peace.
