Paula Ann Kennedy 68 of Houston formally of Brownwood passed away Sunday August 10 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston TX. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 19 2014 at the New Testament Holiness Church at 11:00am. A visitation will be held Monday August 18, from 6-8pm at Brownwood Funeral Home.
Paula Ann Kennedy- York was born on June 24, 1946 to Mrs. Lillie Mae Kennedy-Harvey and Chester Harvey in Louisville Kentucky, a true southern belle, she graduated from Manual High School. She had five children, one girl and four boys. She was very active in the community; she branched out and moved to Minneapolis Minnesota where she turned her life over to the lord. Paula was a member of the Endtime Gospel Church, where she dedicated her life to helping and serving others. She didn't mind getting her hands dirty and rolling up her sleeves. Paula made countless number of friends throughout her life, and she loved to travel. She worked as a prison guard for several years and loved helping and sharing the word with the inmates.
Paula was preceded in death by both parents, 2 sons Little Greg, and Marcus Mosley, brothers, Stanton and James Harvey, and one sister Janice Harvey.
Left to cherish her memories are daughter Latrice M. Mayfield (Anthony) of Houston TX, 3 sons Anthony Kennedy of Louisville Kentucky, Stacy Mosley of Arlington and Greg Tony Mills of Arlington. Sister Darlene Stewart of Louisville Kentucky , Cousin Gloria Jean Bibb and aunt Marguerite. Seven Grandchildren, Doneva Kennedy, Walter Kennedy, Issac Kennedy, Marcus Mosley, Innocent Mosley, Davon'Dre Mosley, and Tray Mosley and great Grandchild Zavia Sidney, and a host of extended family and friends, and the Wasson family. She will be dearly missed, she shared the love of the lord with us and for that we feel so rich and so loved, there is no words that can express how thankful we are .
