Patricia Renfro-Patterson, 47, went to her final resting place on Sunday, June 26, 2016, with her daughter by her side. Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 2nd at Galilee Baptist Church, 1011 Briarwood Dr. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dove Funeral Home located at 2500 N. 1st St in Abilene, TX. Patricia was born June 8, 1969, to Johnnie Cherry and William Renfro in Abilene, Texas. She attended schools in Abilene and spent most of her career working as a CNA at Coronado Nursing Home and the Abilene State School. She enjoyed listening to country music, enjoying life, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Lloyd Patterson of Waco, TX; daughter Felicia Renfro of Waco, TX; 4 sisters: Linda Shackelford of Big Spring, TX, Diane Cherry of Waco, TX, Bonita King of El Paso, TX, and Shirley Hammond of Abilene; 2 brothers: Robert Cherry or Jackson, MS, and David Cherry of Orlando, FL; a very special niece Erin Cherry of Waco, TX; and host of other nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by both parents Johnnie Cherry and William Renfro, aunt Bobbie McCann, brothers Larry Cherry and Kenneth Cherry, and nephews Terrence Cherry and Anthony King.
