Pamelia Ann Hargrove, 80, of Cross Plains, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, surrounded by the family and friends she loved so much. Pam was born on November 28, 1945, in Abilene, Texas, to Estes "Eck" and Alene Farrar. She grew up in Eula and graduated from Eula High School. Pam enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved working in her garden, mowing her yard, and making sure everything looked just right. One of her greatest joys was watching her grandson, Coby, grow up. Whether it was sports, school, work, or life in general, she was always interested in what he was doing and proud of the man he became. She spent many years working in meat markets for several grocery stores and truly enjoyed the people she worked with. She never met a stranger and loved joking around with friends and coworkers. If you knew Pam, you knew her laugh - it was contagious and could brighten any room. Pam and her daughter, Misti, could turn almost anything into an adventure. She and her husband, Darrell, enjoyed making trips to Oklahoma to try their luck at the casino and spend time together. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Darrell Hargrove of Cross Plains; her daughter, Misti Buchanan and husband Michael of Clyde; stepson, Gary Hargrove and wife Lori of Heath; stepdaughter, Christine Taton and husband Kenny of Coleman; stepson, Troy Harris and wife Sharon of Stephenville; grandson, Coby McGonagill and wife Maria of Clyde; granddaughter, Ashten Jenkins and husband Dustin of Merkel; sister, Debra Frazier and husband Gerald of Dudley; along with many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and friends. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Eck and Alene Farrar, and her two sons, Duane Davis and Paul Davis. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shannon Spate, Sahara Parker, and the staff of Kinder Hearts Hospice for the love, care, and compassion they showed Pam and her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Cross Plains. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Forever loved and deeply missed.
