Nelline Reeves, 96 of Brady, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2014. Nelline Reeves was born to Mattie White on August 7, 1918 in Lola, Texas. She was the youngest of four brothers. Funeral Services will be Held Saturday August 16, 2014 at 10:00am at St. James Baptist Church with Pastor Sylester Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held at 9:30am prior to the service. Nelline moved to Brady in 1942. She met and fell in love with Johnny Reeves. He was employed as an oil mill worker. After the death of her husband in 1953, she worked various jobs to support her family. Her generous love and leadership for her family will be remembered by everyone. Nelline Reeves is preceded in death by her mother, Mattie White; her children, Johnny Reeves and Willie Mae Reeves, her brothers Glenn Williams, Isaiah Williams and Brady Williams. She is survived by her children, Charlie Reeves- Houston Texas, Alfred Reeves-Houston, Texas and Oma Sinches-Austin, Texas. Her grandchildren include Catina Sinches- Houston, Texas, Calandria Reeves- Houston, Texas, Andreana Reeves-Houston, Texas, Shalonda Reeves-Houston, Texas, Kim Reeves-Houston, Texas Alfred Reeves Jr.-Las Angeles California; and a host of great grandchildren and other family members and friends.
