Manley 96 of Bangs received her heavenly crown Wednesday March 30, 2016. a Service of praise and celebration will be held Tuesday April 5, 2016 at 2pm at the New Testemant Holiness Church in Bangs with Pastor Richard Talton as the Eulogist. A visitation will be held Monday April 4, 2016 from 6-8pm at the Brownwood Funeral Home located at 2512 Belle Plain. > Mattie was born in Kilgore TX to the parentage of Jerry Cotton and Mattie Mears. She recieved her education from Kilgore public schools. Sister Mattie then Moved to Lawton Oklahoma where she would raise her family. In The early 70's Minister Mattie Manley relocated to Bangs Tx, where she was a faithful member of the New Testiment Holiness Church. Minister Mattie Manley Loved to share the word of God with anyone, she loved to sew, fish, and absolutley loved Gardening. > Left to cherish her memories are 7 daughters Gloria Talton andWilletta Vance both of Brownwood, Barbara Monroe (Martin), Louise Myers, Marie Smith, Veronique V. Jackson all of Phoenix Arizona, and Illa Michelle Wiggins of Arkansas. 28 Grandchildren and a host of extended family and many many friends. > Mattie was preceded in death by both parents, daughter Wanda Jean, son Willard James Manley Jr. And 10 siblings.
