A woman of many hats, Mary was a boisterous woman and very outspoken. "May-ree" used every situational moment as an opportunity for a lesson to be taught. As it turns out while seldom attending elementary school no one could understand why all these children had straight A's. Mary received her associate of applied arts degree from Cisco Jr. College, and mad the Deans Honor Roll at McMurry in 1994, and finished her Master's Degree in criminal Justice. All of the neighborhood kids would come to Mary's students for answers to school quizzes.. Mary worked as a teacher for many years educating and mentoring hundreds of youth. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist church. Mary was very family oriented and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, She loved educating and teaching her grandchildren while spending quality time with them.
