A Graveside Service will be held Saturday June 17, 2023 at 10:00 am at Blanket Cemetery with Oscar Soto officiating. A Repast will be hosted at Blanket Community Center after the service. Martha Soto Martinez was born in Brownwood, Texas to Ernesto and Martha Soto on May 13th, 1964. She attended Blanket I.S.D. in Blanket, Texas. She graduated from Blanket I.S.D. She married Joe Martinez on June 25, 1983 in Brownwood, Texas. Martha Soto Martinez was preceded in death by her parents: Ernesto and Martha Soto; Maternal Grandparents: Moses and Martha Rodriquez and sister Mary Soto. Martha Soto Martinez is survived by her husband Joe Martinez; 1 daughter: Jaime Martinez of Brownwood, Texas; 2 sons: Derrick Martinez of El Dorado, Kansas, and Jacoby Martinez (Henry) of Leander, Texas; 3 brothers: Roger Soto (Connie), Ernest Soto (Shannon), Oscar Soto (Rebecca) all of Brownwood, Texas, 2 sisters: Susan Soto Abernathy of Austin, Texas and Anna Soto of Brownwood, Texas; Grandchildren: Destiny Lara and Isaac Lara of Brownwood, Texas, Halaynah Martinez and Aalyanna Martinez of Topeka, Kansas.
