Margaret Ann Thomas 65 of Abilene, passed away Thursday February 25, 2016 at Lubbock Heart Hosptial in Lubbock TX, a memorial visitation will be held Friday March 4, 2016 from 6-8pm at St. John Baptist Church located at 798 North Carver. Margaret was born December 11, 1950 in Calver TX, She moved to Abilene at an early age and attended Woodson Elementary, then on to Carter G Woodson High school. Margaret loved life and she loved shopping, cooking, and she loved to read. Margaret worked in the health care field caring for her patients for many years. She also was employed at Hardin Simmons. Preceding her in death is her mother Avis Rogers. Biological mother Bobbie Roger Holliway, sister Jacquline Holliway Left to cherish her memories are daughters Lasonya Calloway of Dallas TX, and Bekina Smith of Washington, sons Bennie Jones of Abilene, and Bashaki Thomas of Elpaso, brothers Lewis Rogers , Jack Holliway, Ernest Holliway all of Beaumont, sisters Bernadett Holliway also of Beaumont, and Doris Holliway of Fort Worth TX. 13 granchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
