Lyndon was born to CPL. Robert E. Harling and Nellie B. (Chandler)Harling on August 5, 1956 at Mineral Wells/ Fort Wolters, in Parker County TX. He grew up in Asheville, NC attended school there and was a member of Hill Street Baptist Church. Lyndon returned to Brownwood in 1970. He attended Brownwood High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He served from 1975 to 1977, being honorably discharged. Lyndon D. Harling 58 went to live with the lord on December 29, 2014. Lyndon is survived by Mother Nellie B. Harling-Luckey of Brownwood, 2 daughters Letitia and Larina, 4 sons Lyndon II, Lawrence, Lionel, and Randy. 2 brothers Ronald Harling, Phillip Harling, 8 grandchildren,and a host of numerous nieces nephews extended family and friends.
