Lydia Sotelo Bynum, 45, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Hendrick Medical Center. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Broadview Baptist Church with Minister David Cason officiating. Lydia Sotelo Bynum was Born in Abilene TX, to Ramon A. Sotelo, and Mary Louise Sanchez on March 30, 1969 and passed away on January 28, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Lydia attended school in Abilene. After graduation she attended Phlebotomy School and worked as a Phlebotomist for the majority of her life. Lydia was an avid reader with a massive book collection. She loved to make jewelry and candles and share them with her family and friends. She had an immense love for her family and carried her daughter and nephews close to her heart. Left to cherish her memories are husband George Bynum and daughter Jaycee Bynum, Mother and step-father Mary and Lionel Jimenez, sister Nora Freemen and husband Michael and their children Mathew and Caleb Freeman, Brother Luke Jimenez and wife Mayra and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
