Luiz E. Gonzales, better known as "Eric" passed away suddenly Thursday March 29, 2018 at Hendrick Medical Center. A memorial Service will be held at a soon to be announced date. Eric was born April 23, 1984 in Abilene TX to Luiz Lauro Gonzales and Carol Geariety-Gonzales. Eric received the majority of his primary education from Abilene independent schools, and the last year of High School the family moved to Frisco TX, and Eric graduated from Frisco High School in 2002. After graduation Eric enrolled in Collin County College in Plano, TX. After college, Eric remained in the Metro-plex area working in Sales which he was very good at. Growing up, Eric was sometimes referred to by his grandparents as the "Golden Boy", he Loved to dress and look good and was also often referred to as 'Mr GQ". Eric was very intelligent and well read in many different topics. Eric loved current events, history, music, the Bible, and many other topics. and inherited his love for debating from his father. But most of all, he loved his family, he was very proud of his daughter, his pride and joy, Catalina. Eric and his mother had a very special bond and often claimed it was "Us against the world!". Eric was a jokester, witty, charming, and loved life. He loved to have a good time and loved to hang out with friends and family. Eric was the life of the party, and always had his words of wisdom to share.
Eric was preceded in death by father Luiz Gonzales, maternal grandparents Charles and Doris Cox, and paternal grandparents Frank and Rosa Gonzales.
Left to cherish his memories are daughter Catalina Gonzales of Abilene, Mother Carol Gonzales of Abilene, sister who he loved dearly, Isabella Gonzales of Abilene. A very special Cousin who Eric grew up with and considered a brother, Scott Tettleton of Grapevine TX, his dear friend Jessica Bland of Abilene, 6 Aunts, including Leanne Evans, who was very special to him, 1 uncle and a host of extended family and many, many friends.
