Lowell Eugene Newton, 75, of Eunice, New Mexico passed away August 27, 2026.

Mr. Newton was born May 05, 1951, to Lowell W. Newton and Mae Baker in Brownwood, Texas.

Lowell is survived by his two children: Jennifer Newton of Eunice and Stephanie Newton of Oklahoma. Two sisters: Sue Trowbridge and Eva Egger both of Texas. Brother: Dale Newton of Texas. Five grandchildren: Brooklynn Butler, John Butler, Kalub Butler, Katelyn Butler, and Shaun Butler. Four great-grandchildren: Novelee Eden, Jensen Lee, Ledger Briggs, and Paisleigh Mae.

Lowell was preceded in death by his father: Lowell W. Newton. Mother and stepfather: Mae and Bill Watkins. Sister: Linda Newton. Maternal grandparents: Albert and Hattie Baker. Brother-in-law: Phillip Trowbridge. Niece: Kathy Jo and great-granddaughter: Oaklynn Andrea.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:30am at Brownwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rocky Creek Cemetery.
