Lois Lucas 74 of Abilene passed away Wednesday March 29, 2017 at Willow Springs Nursing Home . Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 5, 2017 at 11:00am at St. John Baptist Church located at 798 North Carver. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-7pm also at the church. Lois was born June 14, 2017 in Fort Worth Texas. Lois moved to Abilene as a young child and attended Woodson Elementary. She was a member of the St. John Baptist Church, where she served faithfully for many years. Lois Loved people, she loved to socialize, and she loved going to church. Left to cherish he memories are husband George Ghant, grandchildren she helped raise; Maurice, Michael, Marcus. Numerous nieces nephews extended family and many friends.
