Linda
Nicholson
Mar 9, 1960 — Oct 20, 2026
Linda Ann Nicholson, 66, of Brownwood, Texas, passed away on October 20, 2026. She was born on March 9, 1960, in Brownwood, Texas, to Charlie Nickerson and Leola Green. Linda was a sweet, loving, and caring woman whose heart was always open to others. She was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand or open her home to those who needed a place to go. She welcomed others as if they were her own family and made sure the people around her felt loved and cared for. She worked in Sweetwater, Texas, as a security guard. To those who knew and loved her, Linda was more than a grandmother. She was a mother figure, a comfort, and a blessing. She touched many lives with her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her warm heart, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely. Linda enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, especially fishing and cooking. Whether she was preparing a home-cooked meal or spending time with the people she loved, she found happiness in bringing family together. Her love was shown not only through her words but through everything she did for others. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Her loving children, Timber Nickerson, Christal Nickerson, and Jonathan Nickerson. Her beloved grandchildren: Ta'Nyah Nickerson, Kahli Nickerson, Kamora Nickerson, Teyahzae Nickerson, Tre Nickerson, and Milani Nickerson. Her precious great-granddaughter, Tai'Yonnii Nickerson. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of loving family members, including Dan Lee, Raymond, Josephine, Troy, Lloyd, and William, along with many other relatives and loved ones. She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Charlie Nickerson and Leola Green; her baby sister, Mary Ann Nickerson; her brothers and other beloved family members, including Allen, J.W. Nickerson, Joe, Ronnie Nickerson, Marshal, Tommie Dale, and her nephew, Caleb Nickerson. A Beautiful Life, A Love That Lives Forever Linda's presence will be deeply missed, but the love she poured into her family will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that the memories she created and the kindness she showed will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind. She may no longer be here to cook our favorite meals, share a fishing trip, open her doors, or share her love of chicken, wrap her arms around us, but her love will remain in our hearts forever. To some, she was Linda. To others, she was Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. But to those who loved her most, she was a blessing we were fortunate to have. Rest peacefully, Granny. Thank you for loving us, taking us in, and treating us as your own. You were loved more than words could ever express. Your legacy of love will live on forever.
