LaQuetta Burkett Day Wehrman passed away Saturday May 23. She was born May 5, 1964, in Coleman, Tx to Jim & Edna Burkett. She married Barry Day. and they proceeded to have 3 children, Kenda, Dustin & Lacy. After Barry passed away, her & the kids moved to Bangs where the kids went to school and finished growing up. Later in life she married Jim Wehrman and following his death she returned to Brown County. She loved the outdoors more than indoors and enjoyed her farm, fishing, sunsets, her precious dogs, friends & family. Her wicked sense of humor kept everyone on their toes and laughing at her antics. She will remain beautiful & loved forever in our hearts. She is survived by her beloved Dad, Jim Burkett & wife Phyllis of Lake Brownwood, her daughter Kenda Day & Granddaughter SK of Cuero, Dustin Day, and Lacy Kiley, sisters Pam Tillery & husband John of Brownwood, Cheryl Kincheloe & husband Al of Burkett, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brownwood Funeral Home will be in charge of her Online Memorial Tribute & Cremation. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
