Joyce Annette Austin "Moose" 56 of Dallas passed away Saturday December 5, 2015, Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Funeral Home located at 4228 S. Lancaster Ave. Dallas TX, 75216, Saturday December 12, 2015 at 1pm, with Pastor Chris Carter officiating. Joyce Annette Austin also known as "Moose" was born in Mart TX, to the parentage of James Turner Allen and Joyce Marie Motley. She received her elementary education from the Mart Independent Schools before moving to Brownwood and finishing school there. Moose relocated to Dallas TX, where she met and married Charles Austin in the Mid 80's. Although she never had children of her own, she loved children and was a mother figure to many children. Moose was the life of the party, she loved socializing, cooking and attending family get togethers. She was preceded in death by parents James Turner Allen and Joyce Marie Barnes. Left to cherish her memory is her Brother Freddie Lee Rainey (Rhonda) of Brownwood, and sister Nichole Steine of Dallas, number of Aunts, Uncles, and a host of extended family and many friends.
