Jimmy Don Poe, 79 years old, of Brownwood, Texas, passed on April 13, 2025, in Brownwood. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 26th at Blanket Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brownwood Funeral Home, 2512 Belle Plain in Brownwood, TX 76801. Jimmy Don Poe was born in Odessa, Texas, to Virginia Ellen and Vernon Edward Poe on August 3, 1945. He married Gloria Ann Ramoz on July 6, 1972, in Brownwood, Texas. They were married for 44 years and were long residents of Blanket, Texas. Jim was an active member of Milton Baptist Church for many years. Jim Poe was preceded in Death by his loving wife, Gloria Ann Poe. He was survived by his son Cecil Poe, his Daughter Monica Brooks, her husband David, and three grandchildren, Alex, Daniel, and Nova Poe.
