Jesus Modesto Gonzalez 93, of Brownwood, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 am at Brownwood Funeral Home.

Jesus was born in Lockhart, TX to Josefa and Manuel Gonzalez.

Jesus worked for the Santa Fe Railroad. His passion was being outside with his cars and tending to his trees; he would always find something to work on.

Jesus loved his family very much and his grandchildren were his treasure. He was a simple man but was the first to teach and help anyone in need.

Jesus is preceded in death by his parents Josefa and Manuel Gonzalez.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Martina Gonzalez of 59 years, 1 daughter: Martha Gonzalez (Eric Torres) of Brownwood. 3 sons; Jesus M. Gonzalez, Juan M. Gonzalez, and Jose Gonzalez (Christy) all of Brownwood along with 19 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Jesus shared so much love and will be missed dearly.
