Janifer Lavern Barton 63 of Brownwood, TX formerly of Giddings passed away Thursday, August 8th, 2019 at her home, with family by her side. Funeral services will be held Friday August 16, 2019 at the New Testament Holiness Church at 10am, with burial at the Giddings Cemetery in Giddings. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8pm at the Brownwood Funeral Home Chapel. Janifer was born October 17th, 1955 in Giddings Texas to Ollie and Artense Roberson she received her primary education from Giddings Schools graduating from Lexington High School. Janifer relocated to Brownwood to Brownwood and began a career in food service, owning several restaurants over the years. She loved singing, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved softball, basketball and her favorite show Walker Texas Ranger. but most of all she loved the Lord, and attending Revivals, and preaching. She was preceded in death by both parents. Left to cherish her memories are children Amanda Barton of Brownwood, Brandon Barton (Ashley) of Early, Randall Roberson (Laura) of Brownwood, Terrence Roberson (Shyan) of Brownwood, best friend Ronnie McGraw of Brownwood, grandchildren; Alex, Aden, Avyn, Aaniyas, Hayden, Lexi, Alizae, Adalyn, Weston, Riley. Siblings Cathrine Shaw, Donald Roberson, Karen Scott, Curtis Roberson, Ollie Roberson, Vivian Tucker, Rose Roberson, Jimmy Roberson, and a host of extended family and many friends.
