Janaya Loreal Norman-Wilson 43 of Abilene received her Heavenly Crown Friday October 28, 2016 with family by her side at Hendrick Medical Center. A service of praise and celebration will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00am at the Faith Deliverance Community Church. A Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8pm also at Faith Deliverance Community Church. Comments to be presented at the Wake only. Janaya was born August 6, 1973 in Stamford TX to the parentage of Jackie Phillips and Victoria Lee Norman. Janaya received her primary education from schools in California and Texas, Her family moved to Brownwood in the mid 80's, and Janaya attended and graduated from Brownwood High School in 1991. She Attended and graduated from Abilene American Commercial College and received a degree in Accounting. In 1995, Janaya began a career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice; then concluded her career with Child Protective Services from 2006 to 2016. Janaya met the love of her life Shawn Wilson in 1998, and the two would marry in Abilene in 1999. Janaya accepted Christ into her life at an early age and had a devout fervor for the Lord, His Word, and the Nation of Israel. Most recently, she was a member of the Beltway Park Baptist Church. Some of the things she loved was viewing Pat Robinson and the 700 club, traveling, reading, cooking, and "Shopping". Janaya was very family oriented, she loved her family and would do anything for anyone, but most of all she loved God and His people. Janaya was preceded in death by: Mother Victoria Coffield and step-father Herman Coffield; Father Jackie Phillips; Maternal Grandmother Elizabeth Rose Johnson, and paternal grandmother Lillie Hunter. Left to cherish her memories are loving husband Shawn Wilson of Abilene, TX. Daughters: Acasia Robinson of Abilene, TX and Jayda Wilson of Abilene, TX. Sons: Adrian Robinson of Abilene, TX; Anthony Drayton of Abilene, TX, David Wilson of Atlanta GA, and God Son Stavion Lowe of Brownwood TX. Grandchildren: Caison Robinson, Cailynn Robinson, Rea Woods, Kaylem Flores, all of Abilene TX. Sister Jacquelyn Blanton of Austin TX and honorary sister MaKaila Lowe of Brownwood TX.
