Jackie Ray Arrowood, 78, of Bangs, TX, passed away on August 13, 2025 in Bangs. Jack was born in Brownwood to Ray and Nelda Arrowood on December 1, 1946. He graduated from Bangs High School in 1965. On October 22,1982, he married Sandy Henry in Brownwood. Jack retired from the Highway Department. He spent many years active with the Bangs Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as Sergeant-at-Arms. He also worked at B&R processing every season. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Nelda Arrowood, and his sister Sharon Arrowood. Jack is survived by his wife Sandy; daughter Becky Arrowood, daughter Jill Kellems and husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Lance Kellems, Brielle Kellems, Alex Arrowood, Abigail Kellems, June Tyler, Zoe Tyler, and Shylin Tyler; and many friends. There are no services scheduled at this time.
