Ivory Nell Hickman- Garrett 52 of Abilene passed away February 24, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center Funeral services will be held Saturday March 1, 2014 at Galilee Baptist Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Bobby King Sr. as the Eulogist. A viewing will be held at Dove Funeral Home from 11-5pm Friday February 28 with the visitation from 6-8pm at Galilee Baptist Church. Born Ivory Nell Hickman in Abilene to the parentage of Ozona Hickman and Robert Hickman, Ivory lived all of her life in Abilene attending Abilene ISD. Ivory received Christ at an early age while attending St. John Baptist Church for many years. On July 6, 1981 Ivory married the love of her life Larry Garrett in Abilene TX. Ivory was a very loving person who never met a stranger, Ivory loved working in the yard, recording music, and of course she loved to cook for her family. She leaves to cherish her memory Husband of 32 years Larry Garrett of Abilene,Mother Roberta Hickman 2 sons Sacarianc DJuan Hickman and Dishanik Henry, both of Abilene grandson Christopher Hickman of San Antonio and 1 brother Steve Hickman of Abilene.
