Ira James Banks, Age 60, of Brownwood passed away November 29, 2022. A Visitation will be held Friday December 9, 2022 from 6-8pm at Brownwood Funeral Home. Ira was born February 7, 1962 in Brownwood, TX to Louise and Richard Banks and received his primary education in Brownwood's School District. His hobbies included listening to loud rap music, watching western movies, and letting everyone know that the greatest football team is the Los Angeles Rams. Ira is proceeded in death by both parents and 1 brother Frank Banks. He leaves to cherish his memory his companion for 47 years Tonja Banks. 2 Daughters; Jenifer Franklin and Sherry Franklin. 5 Sons; Irrie Franklin, Darrell Franklin, Richard Franklin, James Banks, and Cornell Franklin. 1 Sister; Mary Banks. 1 Brother; Richard Banks; and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews. Services are entrusted to Brownwood Funeral Home.
