Hope Valadez Alvarado, born January 16, 1942 in Brownwood, Texas, to Jose Ismael Valadez and Louisa Hernandez Valadez, passed away surrounded by the love of those she devoted her life to caring for. Hope was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. She worked in sewing for over 20 years, dedicating her time and skill to her craft with patience and pride. Through her work and her life, she stitched together not just fabric, but memories, warmth, and love. In 1991, she and her beloved husband, Cruz Alvarado, opened their hearts and home to five children through adoption. Becoming a mother to five was one of her greatest joys and proudest accomplishments. Her love for her children was unconditional, steady, and fierce. Hope spent much of her life as a caregiver. With selflessness and grace, she cared for her mother, her husband Cruz, and her brother Raymond Valadez until their passing. Caring for others was not just something she did - it was who she was. Her life was defined by service, sacrifice, and deep family loyalty. She found joy in music and dancing, often lighting up a room with her spirit. She loved flowers, especially carnations, and was drawn to the rich beauty of burgundy and red - colors that reflected her warmth, strength, and vibrant heart. Hope leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion. She will be remembered for her kindness, her steady presence, and the countless lives she touched through her care and compassion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Hope Valadez Alvarado was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jose Ismael Valadez and Louisa Hernandez Valadez; her devoted spouse, Cruz Medina Alvarado; and her brother, Raymond Valadez. She is lovingly survived by her companion, Gurmecindo Deleon; her daughter, Yesenia Trevino, and husband, Domingo Trevino; her sons, John Alvarado and wife Dana Alvarado, Joe Alvarado; daughters Daisy Alvarado and Alex Alvarado, and fiancé, Carl Allen. She is also survived by her brothers Jody Valadez and wife Annabelle Valadez, Rudy Valadez and wife Marisol Valadez, Mario Valadez, and Arthur Valdez; her sister, Odilia Ayala, and husband Viviano Ayala; and her cherished grandchildren Azariah Dillard, Dakota Simpson, Kailey Alvarado, Logan Jackson, Natalie Trevino, Denali Mullins, Ledger McDonough, Catalina Trevino, Olivia Garcia, Alex Garcia, as well as countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.
