Mother Henrietta Coleman 95 of Abilene received her heavenly crown Thursday May 28 2015, a service of praise and celebration will be held Wednesday June 3, 2015 at 10am at the Valley View Baptist Church. Rev. Andrew Penns will officiate with Rev. J. Hamilton and Rev. R. Green assisting. A visitation will be held at Valley View Baptist Church Tuesday from 6-8pm.
Mother Coleman was born August 12, 1919 in Jacksonville Texas, to the parentage of James Andrew Davis, and Rosie Richardson. Mother Coleman was a long time Abilene resident who loved people and most of all loved God. Mother Colman worked at the greyhound bus station in Jacksonville TX for a number of years before retiring and moving to Abilene. Henrietta was a long time member, and church mother at Valley View Baptist Church. Mother Coleman loved baking and cooking.
Left to cherish her memories are 2 sons John Hamilton (Pam), and Henry Coleman both of Abilene. 4 daughters Fannie Cameron of San Antonio, Alice Moore (Donald) of Abilene, Vivian Coleman of Houston and Evelyn Evans of San Antonio. And granddaughter Dorothy Dukes. She also leaves behind her loving Valley View baptist Church Family.
