Hazel Moore Diggs 74 of Arlington Formerly of Abilene received her heavenly crown Tuesday February 16, 2016 in Burleson TX, Graveside services will be held Monday February 22, 2016 at 10:30am at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery, with Pastor James Moore officiating. Hazel, 1 of 6 children was born September 1, 1941 in Yoakum TX. Hazel accepted Christ at an early, and briefly attended school there before her family settled in Abilene TX, where she would graduate from Carter G. Woodson High school. After High School she married and received her Cosmetology license from Andrew's Beauty College in Gulfport, Mississippi. Hazel loved her family and even more so loved the lord. She never met a stranger and would help just about anyone. Hazel loved cooking for the family and loved to watch a good game of football. Her parents: Hazel was preceded in death by both parents Ben Evans Moore Sr. & Cecelia Ruth Moore. Siblings Ben Moore Jr., Samuel Moore, Faye Pennye, and Novrine Moore Left to cherish her memories are daughter Vanessa Henry of Gulfport MS, sons Joe Diggs (Debbie) of Arlington TX, and Kevin Hardy (Shuwanda) of Gulfport MS, Brother Alfred Paul Moore Sr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family members and many friends.
