Gregory Carter 51 of Abilene passed away Wednesday July 29, 2015 at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday August 4, 2015 at 12:00pm at the Ash Street Baptist Church located at 1366 Ash St. a Viewing will be held at the Dove Funeral Home Monday from 11-4pm. Gregory was born January 2, 1964 in Plainview TX, to the parentage of John L. and Alma Gean Carter. Greg received his primary education from Plainview schools, and excelled on the football field, graduating in the class of 1983. A person who never met a stranger, Greg would give his last to help anyone out, Greg was just an all-around nice, kind person who loved his family, friends, and loved to be around kids. Gregory was preceded in death by both parents, 2 brothers, Benny Brown, and John Carter Jr. left to cherish his memories are, spouse of 13 years Angel Carter of Abilene, daughter Seven Nicole Carter, 2 sons Greg Carter Jr. of Clovis NM and G.
