The World lost a piece of joy and laughter as the Lord opened up his loving arms to embrace another one of his children. Gloria Leagrand McCutchen "GLO" 62 of Brownwood passed in the early hours of the morning at her home on Tuesday December 16, 2014. Funeral Services will be held Saturday December 20, 2014 at the Haven of Hope Church in Brownwood at 1:00pm Gloria McCutchen, better known as Glo to friends and family was the beloved daughter of J.B. and Sadie NeSmith. She was born on July 9, 1952 in Abilene TX, She was employed at Bowman Lumber Company for 13 years until she retired to be a housewife and grandmother. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is preceded in death by her parents and by two of her stepsons, Tommy and Jack McCutchen. Survivors include her husband, Calvin McCutchen of Brownwood, Son John NeSmith and Wife Misty Jackson, daughter Angela Gann of Abilene TX, Step-sons Kevin McCutchen and wife Marie, Billy McCutchen of Brownwood Tx. Two brothers, Woodie NeSmith and wife Kathy of Kissee Mills, MO, and Wayne NeSmith of Abilene TX. Two sisters Nettie Metcalfe of Burns, Wyoming, and Pat Mitcham and husband Gene Gillchrist, of Abilene TX. 16 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
