Mike lived his life in accordance with The Boy Scout Law.
He was Trustworthy.
He was Loyal: He was married to his loving wife for 52 years. He was a life long Boy Scout and worked for the Scouts for 25 years. He served his country with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era.
He was Friendly, Kind and Courteous.
He was Obedient.
He was Cheerful: He almost always had a smile on his face and was ready with a bad Dad joke or pun at a moments notice.
He was Thrifty and Brave.
He was Clean and Reverant.
The troop he leaves behind is His wife, Lexy, His daughter, Emily, her husband and stepson, His son, Alex, his wife and daughter as well as seven brothers and one sister.
He joins his parents and one brother.
Services will be held at
Brownwood Funeral Home
August 1, 2022
At 3:00 pm with burial to follow at Greenleaf Cemetery.
Meal following burial at Emmanuel Chapel United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in his name to a local Boy Scout troop or The Emmanuel Chapel United Methodist Church.
