Flora Jean Massey 79 of Abilene passed away at her home, Sunday April 5, 2015 Graveside services will be held Thursday April 9 at 1pm at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery. Flora was born on April 10, 1935 in Wichita Falls TX to the parentage of Leonard and Jewel Lewis. At a young age the family moved to Abilene. Flora had a big heart and never met a stranger. She loved her family, loved to cook and garden, and enjoyed watching Television. Left to cherish her memories is her daughter Darla McWilliams (James) of San Angelo TX, 3 sons Alfred Spencer of Christoval TX, Michael Spencer of Abilene TX, and Steve Rhodes of Bartlett TX. 2 sisters Glenda Hendrix (Charles) and Marilyn Haley (Roddy) both of Abilene. She had 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death are both parents, son Kenneth Wayne Spencer sister Joyce Austin, her twin brother Floyd Dean Lewis, and husband Wylie Massey. Service entrusted to Dove Funeral Home.
