Elizabeth Lee Sliger, age 63, passed away on August 25, 2026. She was born on September 5, 1962.

Elizabeth graduated from TSTC with her associate's degree. She married the love of her life, James Sliger, on February 2, 2002, at Victory Life.

Elizabeth was a caring and giving person who found joy in crocheting and helping others. She dedicated many years of her life to serving others as a corrections officer before retiring. Her kindness, compassion, and willingness to help those around her will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, James Sliger; son Jessie Sliger; son Jason King; son Daniel Cavness; son Randy Marsh; brother Chris Dunaway; granddaughter Jesslyn Sliger; grandson Noah Sliger; grandson Jackson Cavness; granddaughter Morgan King; granddaughter Keltze King; grandson Seth Marsh; granddaughter Chasey Marsh; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Phipps; mother, Louise Ellis; son, Sammuel Cavness; grandmother, Inez McHorse; and grandfather, OL McHorse.

Elizabeth leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service to others. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at North Lake Community Church in May TX, on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 1:00 PM.
