Donald Roberson 67 of Bangs passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Funeral Services will be held November 6, 2021, at 2:00 pm at New Testament Holiness Church in Bangs, TX. Visitation will be held November 5, 2021, 5-7pm at Brownwood Funeral Home. Donald was born June 6, 1954 in Lincoln, TX to Artenae and Ollie Willie Roberson. He received his primary education from Doak Springs School. Donald was a family man that loved joking around and making people laugh. He was a people person that never met a stranger. In his spare time, Donald enjoyed barbecuing, fishing, riding horses, watching westerns and listening to oldies and blues music. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Artenae and Ollie Willie Roberson; siblings, Janifer L. Barton, Sheila R. York and Jimmy Roy Larkin. Donald is survived by his wife Waketia Roberson of Bangs; Daughters: Breanna Roberson of Bangs, Chiffon Dykes (Eric) of Dallas, Neshia Rector (Steven) of Temple, LaKeshia Canada of Hot Springs, Arkansas, April Bailey (Chris) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; Sons: Tenola Roberson of Bangs, Donnie Roberson Jr. (Andrea) of San Antonio, Antonio Canada (LaDonna) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sisters: Cathrine Shaw (Haywood) of Oaklahoma, Vivian Tucker of Bangs, Rose Roberson of Santa Anna, Karen Scott (Kenneth) of Brownwood; brothers: Curtis Roberson (Betty) of Coleman, Ollie Roberson Jr (Marie) of Coleman; 7 grand-children, 3 great grand-children and a host of extended family and friends.
